The staff at Glenaldor House B&B were very attentive and friendly. the location was great, as it was centrally located near Dumfries town centre and the train station. We appreciated the option of coffee, toast, and porridge for breakfast. A delightful surprise was Hubbub Cafe located just 1 km away.

Great room, with a large en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was tasty and filling, perfect for starting a busy day. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the town centre and the train station.

The price was a bit steep compared to similar B&B's in the area. The notice in the room about a £10 surcharge for using the single bed was also a bit sneaky.
